Characteristic
Light yellow granular crystal. Melting point 84-85.5
Uses
Used to make many fragrances and as a fixative. An artificial musk with one of the best aromas among the nitro-containing artificial musks. One of the most commonly used nitro musks. Used in a variety of daily fragrances.
Preparation
It is obtained by methylation, tert-butylation and nitration reaction with m-cresol as raw material.
Packaging
In cardboard drums lined with polyethylene bags, 25KG/ drum
Storage
Store in airtight containers in a cool, dry and light-proof place
